The mission of the gospel of Christ captures our gaze—it’s what we want to give ourselves to. And for us, that means church planting. Sovereign Grace Ministries emerged from a church-planting vision, and we exist to pursue the vision of equipping pastors to plant and lead churches.
Whether you’re an experienced church planter, a student, or a church-planting team member—or if you’re just looking to find out more—browse the links below to learn more about our approach to church planting. Maybe you’ll catch a vision for church planting. Maybe you’ll even want to do it with us.

Attend a conference
Our pastors conference is coming up October 30–November 1 in Orlando, Florida, and you can listen to the audio from last year's conference for free at our blog. Sinclair Ferguson spoke from Hebrews on “Consider Jesus.” Other general sessions focused on faithful pastoring and on forgiveness in the church.
Meet a church planter
In spring 2011, Eric Holter planted Redeeming Grace Church in Durham, North Carolina. In an interview at our blog, Eric explained how the church plant started, how their sending church supported them, and how his entrepreneurial background prepared him to plant a church. Read part 1 and part 2.
